Venturers is the fourth section of Scouts for boys and girls. Venturer scouts experience more independence and responsibility.
Venturer Scouts have fun learning and developing their own character at their own pace.
The Unit’s activities are planned and run by the Venturer Scouts themselves – which means they are tailored to the requirements and interests of members.
Venturers run their own high-adventure activities with guidance from adult leaders. They engage in outdoor pursuits like rock climbing, white-water kayaking, and wilderness expeditions, participate in community service, and work toward peak achievement awards like the Kings Scout Award.
The Venturer Scout program focuses heavily on independence, peer support, and pushing personal limits.
