Event information

This event has passed.
This week, Meadowbank, Ryde and Putney Scouts headed to visit at the NSW SES Ryde Unit for a hands-on evening of emergency services action. Scouts got to explore a working SES facility, learn how volunteers respond when storms and emergencies strike, and take part in practical activities using real equipment.

A huge thank you to the dedicated volunteers at NSW SES Ryde Unit for sharing their time, knowledge, and experience with us!

What to bring:

  • Enclosed shoes
  • Clothes that can get dirty
  • A water bottle

As this is a hands-on activity, Scouts should be dressed appropriately for active participation.

📸 Photos are usually taken during SES events. If anyone does not wish to have their photo taken, they can simply step out of the photo when pictures are being taken.

please meet at 18:50 sharp at:

Ryde SES, 137 – 142 Wicks Rd. Macquarie Park

Beware of red light speed camera at the intersection of Epping Road and Wicks Road.
Note that some GPS show the address incorrectly.
